Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Close Learning Gaps with Specialized Education

Barriers to auditory access can cause extreme gaps in learning and communication skills. Early identification and individualized interventions from a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing can make all the difference in a child’s literacy journey, social skills acquisition, and educational career. Our DHH teachers will support students' development of academic and non-academic skills and increase self-advocacy skills around hearing loss to reach college and career readiness goals.

With 1 in 12 students under 17 struggling with speech and language disorders, providing them with a specialized education plan is necessary for every school system.
