Welcome to the Youth Transition Conference 

Please join us on May 15, 2025 for the 2025 Youth Transition Conference! This year, it will be held on the beautiful campus of Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI, with the theme "Passport to the Future." 

Students will enjoy a welcome address by Marian University President Aaron Sadoff, followed by keynote speakers Ted Neitzke, CEO of CESA 6, and Officer Keywon Brown, School Resource Officer for the Fond du Lac Police Department. 

The conference will feature a variety of sessions for students to choose from, focusing on community readiness, college readiness, and health and wellness.

The Youth Transition Conference is an engaging learning experience for students with disabilities. This opportunity gives students 14 - 21 years old the chance to discover the world before them as they transition from high school into adulthood. With educational breakout sessions and a dynamic keynote speaker, students will be given the tools to prepare for their future.

The Youth Transition Conference 2024 Recap

The Youth Transition Conference 2024, themed “Feel The Journey,” offered a comprehensive lineup of sessions covering various topics to guide young individuals in their transition to adulthood. The conference took place on April 29, 2024, at UW-Oshkosh Reeve Union, and included speakers, vendors, and exhibitions, as well as break-out sessions focusing on:

  • Community Resources (housing, transportation, safety, and self-advocacy);
  • College and Career Readiness (insights into college life, disability services, employment support, career exploration, and self-employment);
  • Wellness (physical wellness, care mapping, mental health awareness, relationships, workplace mental health, and stress relief).
