Outcomes/Deliverables

  • The Kennedy Center’s definition of arts integration: “Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which participants construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Participants engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.”

  • Full day hands-on workshop with three consultants from varied backgrounds.

  • Understand the connection between awareness and trust and how that results in the reduction of behavior referrals and increases achievement and student engagement.

  • Recognize microaggressions and learn how to interrupt them.

  • The photograph you create will serve as a framed marker of your understanding at this point in time. It can be displayed in your workspace as a reminder of your commitment to growth and understanding.
