Individualized Youth Services (IYS) is a program designed to help students learn and implement skills that promote safety at home and school.
IYS in Fond du Lac and Winnebago Counties offer a community-based alternative to long-term residential care for children ages 6-17. IYS provides an environment where children can grow, and families can better understand how to assist their child.
IYS offers respite camp for children who struggle at home, in the community, or in the classroom. With a 1:1 ratio and focused programming, we’re able to assist clients in better managing daily living activities, social interactions, and appropriate behaviors.
To give children a sense of belonging and self-confidence, we design skill-building lessons to support our clients. Our direct services include daily living activities, individual goal focused ventures, and social learning opportunities. Our strength-based relationships offer redirection and support if dysregulation or behaviors occur.
IYS youth mentors are exemplary role models and make a difference in the world by positively influencing children toward healthier relationships, activities, and choices.
Mentors work directly with youth by supporting them behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. They serve our clients during non-school hours in a variety of settings, providing quality services to meet the needs of each individual.

Individualized Youth Services has been providing support to children in Winnebago County for over 12 years. They serve 35-50 children and their families each year. The support they provide gives children an opportunity to learn and grow in their community. The staff helps mentor the children and assist them with learning how to cope when they are upset and have more positive interactions with other children. The service not only helps children but gives parents time to focus on other aspects of their life, which helps better equip them to support their children.
