Regional Spelling Bee

Every spring, CESA 6 facilitates two regional spelling bees for the top spellers in our district region.

From Regional to National Spelling Bee

The top spellers from our regional bee advance to the Badger State Spelling Bee in Madison, sponsored by the Wisconsin State Journal. The top three finishers at the state spelling bee will represent Wisconsin at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. Students in grades 3-8 in participating districts are eligible to compete. Registration takes place in the fall.

Badger State Spelling Bee

The Badger State Spelling Bee is held every March in Madison, WI. The top spellers from the CESA 6 regional bees join other spellers from across the state to vie for a chance to travel to Washington, D.C., for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
