Let CESA 6 Literacy guide your district through a deep dive into Learning Walks, a high-leverage leadership routine for continuous improvement in instruction. We will facilitate professional learning, customized implementation coaching plus training and support for your school, district, or system leaders.

Benefits
In-district learning sessions will provide leaders with a history and purpose of learning walks and how high-leverage leadership routines support continuous improvement. During these learning sessions, leaders will build a district vision for the desired state of learning walks and be provided with literacy strategic planning tips and tricks.
Additional in-district customized implementation support will include guided practice with learning walk routines, development of customized district tools to support the learning walk routine and district goals, analysis of district instructional data and cultural readiness for learning walks, and strategic learning planning.

Goals

- Guided co-planning to launch Learning Walks into literacy classrooms based on factors learned in and considered from the professional development session.
- Look-for documents that align with impactful literacy practices and are customized to match district goals, practice changes, curriculum, etc.
- Understanding of instructional data collection process, analysis, and impact.
- Guided Learning Walks, with a CESA 6 consultant, to practice and improve the process.
- Strategic planning, including monitoring strategies, for next steps to improve instruction and student outcomes.
