The purpose of the Special Educator Induction Program is to support the attraction and retention of Wisconsin’s new special educators through a statewide comprehensive induction program consisting of “just-in-time” professional learning, coaching, and a support network.

Goals
Teachers will receive:
- Six sessions of “just-in-time” professional development on special education related topics
- Six support networking sessions
- Six individualized coaching sessions

Early Career Special Educators
Outcomes/Deliverables
Teachers will receive:
- Six sessions of “just-in-time” professional development on the use of High-Leverage Practices in Special Education, Comprehensive Evaluation, College and Career Ready (CCR) Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, IEP meeting facilitation and monitoring progress
- Six support networking sessions on the Adult Social and Emotional Learning Competency Modules and problems of practice
- Six individualized coaching sessions
