This learning module equips education professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to engage students with disabilities in inclusive classroom environments effectively.
Participants will explore five core beliefs: maintaining high expectations, employing culturally responsive practices, fostering strong student relationships, promoting family and community engagement, and embracing collective responsibility.
Participants will gain an understanding of the legal obligations associated with implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in inclusive settings. They will also learn strategies for ensuring access to the general education curriculum through universal design principles, modifications/accommodations, and positive behavior support techniques.

This stipulation applies to teacher licenses in ALL teacher, administrator, and pupil services categories.
Outcomes/Deliverables
Upon completing the module, you will receive a certificate of completion, which must be submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction through the Educator Licensing Online (ELO) portal.
